While the last dealers are pulling in and setting up, to some it seems like they've been here for a month. There as been a great deal of activity and the anticipation of Friday, Saturday and Sunday is looming large. The weather has warmed, but stayed dry, absent the always threatening Texas afternoon storm shower. Not to worry, these are veterans and the sales will go on rain or shine.
Marburger Farm Antique Show is in full swing for their second day. Mostly a big top event (pictured above) Marburger Farm has hundreds of dealers covering acres of land between Round Top and Warrenton. This show will end at 4pm Saturday.
The Shelby Antique Show in Harmonie Hall opened at noon today in one of the few air conditioned show buildings. This show will end at 6pm Saturday.
More shows are scheduled to open Thursday and Friday.
The largest number of dealers during Antique Weekend will be opening for business on Friday, October 6th, Saturday and Sunday, October 7th & 8th. Some shows will close Saturday afternoon. See them first and be assured that you can shop 'til you drop.
