A few shows may not open until Friday, but everybody's here.
AntiqueWeekend.com spent most of the day Thursday visiting with dealers and friends at Marburger Farm Antique Show between Round Top and Warrenton on SH-237. The $5 admission fees isn't much greater than the average $3 parking charge at most Warrenton lots. Highly organized, the Marburger Farm presentation is always first-rate. With reasonably priced food and refreshments inside the show, it's easy to make it a day.
Weather Thursday was warm, humid and a couple of places saw brief rain showers.
Come quick and experience the Texas Antique Weekend. Where else can you inspect and purchase collectibles from such a huge selection? There are dealers here from almost everywhere. And many have imports from everywhere else!
Friday is show time! Don't miss it! If you just can't make it Friday, jump in the car or truck Saturday morning and come see for yourself! If you haven't been here before, you just won't believe the size of this event. It's big enough to earn its name, Texas Antique Weekend.
The largest number of dealers during Antique Weekend will be opening for business on Friday, October 6th, Saturday and Sunday, October 7th & 8th. Some shows will close Saturday afternoon. See them first and be assured that you can shop 'til you drop.
