Here's a look inside Emma Lee Turney's Big Red Barn on it's opening day.  Ready for business in the nick of time, the big red barn on SH-237 (8-miles north of Round Top) was packed with buyers milling up and down the aisles.  Dealers we spoke with appreciate the high and dry concrete floors and all forty-four ceiling fans.  Did we mention 'real' indoor rest rooms?  Lots of parking space too!

Today was dry, sunny, and warm with a nice steady if not at times a gusty breeze.  During the sunset hours it got down-right windy.  It looks like we'll get through the entire weekend without any significant rain.  Yeah!  [weather]

Traffic was heavy most of the day with the greatest congestion on SH-237 coming into Round Top (from both directions).
