More than a thousand dealers and vendors have already arrived, and more are on the road headed for the Great Texas Antique Weekend! The dealer pictured above arrived Friday with a typical truck and trailer load of goodies. Preview weekend has arrived. Many dealers will sell right off their trucks in Warrenton. A few others would rather wait until they're set-up. In either case more than half of all the vendors in Warrenton will have their wares for sale Saturday, September 29th. And the weather couldn't be better. WOW! No rain in a week so everything is nice and dry. Cool, breezy, and clear blue skies. [weather] Traffic has been picking up all over the area. Our hotels are full, there are long lines at local restaurants, and shoppers/tourists are everywhere. We've starting putting photos on AntiqueWeekend.com that will give you a glimpse of what you'll find when you get here. [photos] If you haven't been here for Preview Weekend before here are some tips. Most Round Top shows won't be open this weekend. The best action can be found in and around Warrenton. Dozens of farms surrounding Warrenton will also have tables set-up in their yards with tons of real bargains.
